FDM is an additive manufacturing technology that fuses material together to create high-quality prototypes and long-lasting products. The technology creates the final product by fusing together material layer by layer, creating detailed products that typically are impossible using traditional manufacturing tools.

An FDM printer works by depositing the desired plastic material at a high temperature. The material is placed layer by layer onto the build platform and the build platform descends as layers are completed.
